...their music to make it through a day.
"But i believed in more than nothingness last year
and under every quiet failure it's still here.
Buried breathing under 18 years of tragedy and fear.
If i could crawl my way out of this grave
I just think of all the time i'd save.
The stereo's playing the same old songs and we still hum along"
-Try to Remember, Forget
"SHIT Nothing makes sense, so I won't think about it. I'll go with the ignorance.
Eat, sleep, fuck and flee; in four words, that's me.
I am full of indifference.
"What do the old people teach us but how to die (die) die (die)
and what do those hissy fits teach you except how to cry, pussy, cry?
Yeah the futile, the futile, it outweighs the beautiful.
Futile, the futile, it outweighs the beautiful.
Futile, the futile, the futile so (the futile, the futile)"
-The Futile
"I'm a psycho!
Woah!
I'm a psycho!
Woah!
Don't you come near me. (I'm a psycho. Whoa!)
Don't come close to me. (I'm a psycho. Whoa! )
Why don't you fear me? (I'm a psycho. Whoa!)
Don't dance so close to me. (I'm a psycho. Whoa!)
Because they won't let me stop now.
Because I wont stop, can't stop now.
Because they won't let me stop now.
No."
-Little Girls
"they let us play with markers but i keep trying to draw infinity"

(this sums up my life)
New album = so-so
Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy the new album. I would be lieing if I said I like it more than "...Is A Real Boy" though.
There's a handful of songs I absolutely love, and a handful of songs I strongly dislike (hate's too strong of a word.)
I think there's a rawness it's lacking that past albums have had. I also wish the song topics were as diverse as the sound ( I like a good love song, but too many make me feel ill.)
I do understand that bands change and their styles evolve...I just love their old sound, and hope they don't change too much.
