My opinion on Baby Girl, I'm A Blur

No votes yet

When I first baby girl it was a lot different from there other stuff, I wasn't sure if I liked it. But then the more I listened to it, it really grew on me. It is far from one of my favorites on the new album but still is a pretty good song, and catchy. Say Anything would not have close to as many people listening to them if it wasn't for their catchy song Wow (I can get sexual too) which we all know isn't one of their best. But it gets people interested in the band and causes them to discover how great they really are.

So really if your one of the people saying how much you don't like the song, get over it.

Yea, I can see why they would release a poppy song like "baby girl" to grab the mainstream teeny boppin' audience, but it really is disappointing that they don't release a song/video with some real balls. They have so many other great songs to release that really shows their true style. Either way, Max Bemis is god.

I don't care if a band goes mainstream, but I do dislike when their style changes to get mainstream publicity. Hopefully they don't do that. The fact that their sound is original is what caught my interest, and I'm sure many others as well.

I don't like the song.
I don't feel the need to get over it.
It's my opinion.
Get over that.
o snap.

Zaccary,
I agree kinda, You see as a true Say Anything fan I like the song but I dont believe it was the best song for there first single and I think most of us can agree on that. But I guess its like what happend with Is A Real Boy, there first single was incrediable but the video wasnt with Baby Girl the songs not so good but the video is. Look all im saying is if they release Shiksa as there next single and do a decent video for it thats when I believe they will gain the most popularity and pardon me if I have contradicted myself in anyway.

Honestly speaking, i'm tottaly indifferent to the song. It's not that i don't like it but it's definatly nowhere near my favourite on the album. It doesn't really stand out to me as one of their strongest songs. However it is really catchy i'll give them that and was probably the best choice of a single on the album. it's a lot more "poppy" if you will. It's more upbeat and whatnot. Appeals to a larger demographic, which is important to gain the spotlight they tottaly deserve. Nonetheless there is no way it's one of their better songs.
