i dislike that kids freak out when they meet someone famous or semi-famous. such as a fan whose comment i read; she was absolutely freaking out through her comment. i absolutely love say anything; you guys are my favorite band. And i adore max bemis. <3 but a lot of the songs are making fun of scene hype, so in esscence these kids are making fun of themselves by giving into how fans in the scene should act; conforming. i know that rock stars want to be treated like real people with feelings, not marble statues on pedestals. and so, congratulations on getting played on a major radio station. thank you, as well, because ive been going through a tough time and your music has helped me out tremendously.

I love this band. I think it was about a year and a half ago, maybe two years ago, I heard "Alive with the glory of love" on this music choice channel on our cable. I was immediately hooked and had to listen to more. Since then this band has become one of my favorites.
I only share it with those that I find worthy of knowing a band like this, really understanding. Not that I completely understand the lyrics as they were meant to be taken 100% of the time... but I relate to them in so many ways.
And in so many ways the songs by this band have lifted that heavy feeling on my chest that would suffocate me.
I love this band, I love the lyrics, I love the sound and the songs.

Next time you roll through my area I'm going to be there and I'll stand in line for hours just for a hand shake.

Max, you and this band are one of my BIGGEST influences, for music and to stay alive.

Hmmm.. I think it's absolutely hilarious when people hear a band for the first time one the radio and hey only hear the last verse of the song.. and all of a sudden they're an expert on the band, even if they don't know a single name of any of the members and they don't know the song, etc.

I remember the first time I heard ' Wow, I Can Get Sexual, Too '. I heard it on 107.9 here in Las Vegas. I heard it with.. Violet I believe so I called her to see what the song was and the band since I had missed the announcement. Next day I went out and bought the CD of '...Is A Real Boy' and '...Was A Real Boy' and I couldn't help giggling when I read the cover on how the CD was to help the adolescence find their emotional and sexual satisfactions (I believe that's what it said..right?)and that the CD was to introduce the world to Say Anything (I believe it worked: don't you?). Since then: I've been a fan. Never knew you guys had a website, though.
