This year I was really looking forward to being in my school's pit orchestra for the musical, that may sound geeky, but when I did it in freshman year it was a ridiculous amount of fun. They didn't need violins last year, so I didn't do it, so THIS YEAR, I was accepted, and I was all happy and excited.
And then I got home and went online
the Nokia Live concert, March 29, is the SAME night as the last show of the Musical.
I thought maybe, you know, I could get away with it, the music teacher might understand, cause he's a music teacher and all that, but...it came down to the situation that I had to choose the show, or the pit orchestra.
So, naturally I chose the show. Say Anything>High school musical. Pffft I love you guys in the pit orchestra, but I love Say Anything more! I was kinda dissapointed that I'm no longer in pit, cause it was so much fun, when I walked away I felt like the loser of a challenge on a reality show; "I did my best, you know, and that's all I could do, but I guess it just wasn't good enough" but anyway I would so much rather party in the city seeing my favorite band play along with my sister and her husband. And besides that, I would HATE the feeling that night if I chose to be in the orchestra knowing that while I'm playing my stupid violin for a measely high school musical, one hour away my favorite band is playing.
