I was shocked when I found out SA was playing a Catholic college.
I was just wondering if they did their research- especially when I was front and center of a BIKE RACK rail.
I had been talking to the show promoter (I am in the same position at my college) and they were more interested in Hellogoodbye and the MySpace tour as a whole.
We arrived early, it was freezing cold, the openers where Polysics (SICK) and Young Love (redundant).
Hellogoodbye and Say Anything were alternating headlining.
Say Anything went last at this performance.
The set list:
Belt
Woe
Skinny Mean Man
Molly
Shiksa
Wow
Yellow Cat
Baby Girl
Spores
Alive
Encore: Little Girls
The show was fantastic. The band was tight, Max was all over the stage, Parker threw us candy before hand. It's unfortunate it was a co-headlining tour. I would have loved to hear some more songs, but the balance of old and new was great. The crowd was very reasonable, I was bruised every so slightly from the bike rack, indicating a great show.
The spring headlining tour is full of expectations. I hope to hear more new songs, and perhaps some Baseball throw backs for the early fans. Or not.
I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen...but damn would I love to hear Total Revenge.
