OMG! How amazing is "Skinny Mean Man". To be honest at first listen to some of the new tracks I was worried that In Defense of the Genre would not live up to the rep of Say Anything is a Real Boy (which changed my life) but thats the thing about Say Anything the more you listen the more you like, there like a drug! Keep up the good work Say Anything!

I like Skinny Mean Man, but my favorite song off the new album so far, would have to be About Falling, I feel that it really shows the diversity of the band, and the lyrics are amazing, as usual. Im sure this opinion will change as i listen more, because it seems to me that the more i listen to this band, the more each song grows on me.

Skinny Mean Man is my 2nd favorite song by Say Anything (with Admit it! at 1st) but, I hope his voice doesnt become too whiny as i sorta noticed it happend in that song but, i could be wrong and have a horrbile ear.

Yeah, at fist listen, the music sounded really strange and it took me a while to get into it, but now im addicted to all of their songs and i cant wait.

Yeah, I am so happy they didnt change too much.
There are some bands that changed too much in my opinion. It's not bad, I just dont like their new as much as their old *cough* MCR *cough*
But I didnt say that.

I completely agree. When I first got to hear Skinny Mean Man on their myspace, I freaked out for the first few seconds.

"WTF is this?" I was about ready to cry, I am so sick of bands turning to shit.

But, Say Anything, being Say Anything, has done nothing but amaze me. And I get a fix of their new songs almost every day so that I can drool from the mouth and think about how sexy its going to be when I own their new CD.
