How did you guys find out about SA? I'm curious to know. I discovered the greatest band on earth while watching their video for Alive With The Glory Of Love. At first i did not like the song or the video so it would be later when Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too came out when i bought ...Is A Real Boy and love every track on it. I only regret not buying it sooner.

My roommate was playing this god forsaking song with the words "I called her on the phone and she touched herself"
It's been love ever since.
i found out about them when my cousin had the CD now i have to do a report on them
so i fell in love with some boy in about the 5th grade (about 2-3 years ago) i found "into the night" and i knew what i was believeing. i stopped liking this boy and i died and went to hevan. i am so in love with max bemis! (you can tell by my name. lol)
First song I heard by Say Anything was The Last Great Punk Rock Song, as background music on a youtube video. I asked the creator of the video who it was, and I got hooked from then on in.

I worry about how this album will sell because I believe it will determine the amount of SEX I will have in the future.
Alive With The Glory Of Love was on a VH1 sample cd I got at Borders and it was like the coolest song ever so I bought the cd! Ever since then they've been my favorite! =)
i found out about them about a year ago when my friend bought ...Is A Real Boy/...Was A Real Boy
and ever since then theyve been my favorite band
i found out about SA one day when i was at my Grandmas house and my brother played it on her t.v. by going to on demand music choice. i belevie he was watching wow, i can get sexual too.
I've liked them for about a yr now , i got in to by my firends
so yea
I read about them twice in some magazine, stuff about Max "disappearing", and I was kind of intrigued...ended up going onto their MySpace, only listening to "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too" and then immediately buying ...Is A Real Boy =)
I remember seeing an ad for them on purevolume in the beginning of '04 I believe it was.. but I didn't like them right away. I don't even remember listening to them back then "/ .. I'm hooked now though!
I'm a freshman in college, and music is a big part of my life next to skateboarding.
any music I can skate to is perfect.
I listen to alot of really "out there" bands like Gogol Bordello, Zolof The Rock and Roll Destroyer, Bomb The Music Industry!, and the Rx Bandits.
But when my roomate picked Say Anything to put on his Slacker Radio (Check that out btw)
I was just blown away by how perfect they sounded.
Say Anything was exactly what I was looking for all along.
A few months later I happened to be in the Electric Fetus and saw ... Is a real Boy and picked it up without question.
My favorite CD at the moment.
I spread the word anytime I can.
My ex boyfriend sent me a link to the video "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too" and I loved it.
I saw "Wow, I can get sexual too" on youtube, watched it out of boredom, and became hooked. Instantly.

Fate. Destiny. It was to be, and so it was...
5 years ago I was a freshman in college, and for the first time in my life, I was no longer burdened with a dial-up internet connection. I went on a music hunt. I wanted to hear everything I'd never heard before at speeds I had only dreamed of. I was so excited and so ravenous in my search I typed "anything", because that was what I was looking for. Up pops the band SayAnything (still one word at the time) and my life hasn't been the same since.
Well it's funny i was going yo school with my cuz who i hated but he puts in this cd and the intro to Every Man has is Molly starts and i was completly took by the drums and vocals of the song then he played Wow i can get sexual too and i soon spread the word at school

*Kay*
My boss at work is acutally a huge Say Anything fan himself. When we open, he usually plays SA on his PSP as he pulls drawers and stuff...so through my foced exposure at work , i have *thankfully* discovered the best band ever!
Colorblind has to be one of the greatest songs, btw, but it is just unfair to pick just one of their amazing songs to be my favorite...
i actually started listening to SA when i was in 7th grade and I am 17 now. I actually found out who they were through my sister who found out who they were through Dashboard. I didnt start really listening SA until around 2 years ago and i didnt fall in love with them until after I read how Max felt about what happened to him and I felt it was the way I should feel not just about being bipolar but really about everything in my life. I really grew connected to him. So i started listening to SA everyday and I still do that. I always have said SA saved my life and they really did.
Actually, i OD'd and while i was in the hospital my buddy gave me the CD is a real boy to listen too, as a guitarist i can say max bemis has to be one of the most interesting song writers musically and lyrically that i have heard. it also was weird cause his CD was the only one i could listen to in any mood, dont know if its a coincidence that i found out im bipolar a year later, had identified with alot of his songs, they all sort of have a bipolar jist in them.

fuck these pills
well, i heard about them on a playlist on pandora.
and i was like, coo!
and then they came out with wow, i can get sexual too.
and i was like WHO ARE THEY?! i want to have their children.
so now i'm obsessed.
and they're all i listen to.
but im not a creepy stalker.
my therapist basically handed me twenty bucks (back from what i had just paid him) and told me how max was bipolar too and that i could probably relate to a lot of his music. so i went out and found out everything i could and now it's just ridiculous, i listen to another band for about 2 minutes then put say anything back on.
i bought their ...is/...was a real boy album in a target store out of curiosity and it was the best money ive ever spent.
i was in youth group (USY) with max and the original drummer kobe
I was driving with my friend about four years ago, when he put in Baseball. I fell in love with Showdown at P-Town :]
I found them on a random playlist on soundclick four years ago. I haven't been able to get Alive with the Glory of Love out of my head since (or any of their other songs for that matter lol)! I couldn't remember the name of the band for about 6 months and it drove me crazy because part of the melody for AGL kept replaying in my head. I finally found them again on soundclick, went and bought the cd. I have worked in the music industry as a professional for 10 years now and they are THE best band out right now!!! The songs are real, and about real things and they connect with us the listener. Thank you Say Anything for keeping the faith alive that there is great music out there!
I heard about sa about 2 years ago. My boyfriend at the time made me a cd and he put "woe" on there. i loved the song, obviously, and started listening to the whole ... Is a Real Boy album. Most of the songs I liked immediately, while others I had to aquire tastes for, but eventually I fell in love with the band in general. A few weeks after I became a fan, I realized that I actually had heard lyrics from "Woe" before at a dashboard show like 4 months earlier (the whole "I can't get laid in this town without these pointy fuckin shoes, my feet are so black and blue, and so are you" part). Chris Carrabba put it in one of his songs, and I remember thinking, hey, I really like that. Wierd, huh? Thats how good Max's lyrics are. You can freaking remember them after one time even when you have never even heard of say anything in your entire life, because they stick with you.
i found out the same way as grawptard.... except my friend owned the the cd but we were both obsessed with my chem. she listened to it first and was like 'dude, you HAVE to check out this song." i was hooked from the first line =)
then came 'wow...' and i loved that those songs i heard were so blantantly about sex. not using fancy innuendo, just 'this what happened and this what were doing'. it was so fucking honest.
then my friend downloaded most of their other stuff and when i finally made in back to canada, i bought '...is a real boy' and got IDOTG for christmas. and now they're coming to see me in february! i am a lucky, lucky bitch!
one of my friends was listenin to alive with the glory of love a bunch of years back and i loved it but never really listened to the rest of the album. then a couple years ago on a habitat for humanity trip in guatemala, one of the people working with me on building a house worked for the record company of say anything, and told me to listen to the whole album. i did and fell in love with it and ever since then, 2 years ago, say anything has been my favorite band!
I was with my sister in her car driving somewhere and her then boyfriend (now husband) made her a CD and the first song on it was Admit It!!! So I "borrowed" the CD from her and just kept repeating it over and over again. And that's how the mania began...

I promise that one day, everything will be better for you

Say Anything is teh best band ever!
Well I was having a party and my friend brought Is A Real Boy over and left it at my house. While I was cleaning up after the party I decided to listen to it and i fell in love with the music and since then I've been a fan of Say Anything.

"To Fear Death, Is To Limit Life"
I found their single Alive With the Glory of Love on VH1 MusicGood: The Cure To Common Music and loved it. After that I asked for ... Is a Real Boy for my sweet 16. Got it and fell in love. Just got their new cd the other day. =)
My Chemical Romance did an "Under the Influence" CD with Kerrang and Alive With The Glory Of Love was on there. And then I read all about In Defence Of The Genre in AP magazine so I bought it. As always, thank you, My Chemical Romance! And Say Anything of course. Both bands are fucken awesome.
My friend was playing Baseball in his car one day in... 04? Maybe? The first song I heard was Shameless, and I was hooked. It remains my favorite until this day.
I heard them here and there but was always in to more "punk" like face to face, pennywise, lagwagon, etc. Then a friend of mine was listening to them and I got hooked just a few months ago.
I was in a cooking class at school and two of my friends were singing " alive" I thought it was awesome so when I got home I added say Anything to my friends on myspace, I fell in love-it was like nothing I'd ever heard before. Then a few months later I was in a very depressed mood after just breaking up with my boyfriend so I went to a hastings and saw " Is a real boy" and I just decided to get it, within a week I was hooked!!! I absolutly love SA!!!! I went to the myspace music tour with my friend and it was amazing!!!! Keep on making music that's bad ass and cool!!
i went to a Dashboard Confessional concert about a year and half ago and they opened for them.
they have been my favorite band ever since. :]
I was reading my teen vogue about 5 years ago and i was reading this like small article about dashboard confessional cause i really liked them at the time and it was like if you enjoy them then you would like say anything. so i went online and looked them up and instantly fell in love with a lot of the songs from junior varsity and baseball. for christmas, i still dont know how, but my boyfriend at the time got me all of their songs on cds. it was the best thing ever and from then on ive been addicted to every song with my favorite band.
