In defense of in defense of a genre

Ok let me start by saying that in Mid 2006 my older sister turned me on to Say Anything. I said wow this is a great fucking band, something different and fresh. Say Anything ....Is a real boy did not come out of my stereo for at least a month. Belt was fucking great like he said it will start with a song of rebellion, maybe iwasnt going against my fathers wants but i do like to think that i go against soceites grain a tad bit. Alive with the glory of love made me think of my ex-girl katie non stop- i will not let them take her.
Fast forward i picked up the new cd, after hearing some slack from my sister of all people and a couple reviews online. Well they couldnt be more fucking wrong. its is pure pychotic genius. I was hearing that the songs were hard to get into but i found the exact opposite, right from the begining i was intranced. I swear to god i layed there for the entire double disc, layed there and listened to each track the music, and the lyrics and i was enthralled throughout-never once disengaged. You got to listen to the album as a whole, most transitions were smooth and help flow the story of love and medicated sanity and all the problems that it brings.
On the whole this album and the band are going to go very far in the music world today. I want them to keep there style but also keep it fresh like they have done on this album. These guys are the greatest band out there now and i belive they will continue to be!

Till next time
Devotedly
