I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...being a fan is more than liking one hit by a band. It means the music they make effects you in a way that is amazing. I love the enducing lyrics Say Anything creates, they are more meaningful than shitty music like OMG FERGALICIOUS. That doesn't mean anything. Say Anything's lyrics mean something. In Defence of the Genre is just an amazing story of Max Bemis and his stuggles with his breakdown in New York, to meeting his future girlfriend in a mental institution, the break up, and everything after that. I fell in love with this band the moment i heard "Alive With The Glory Of Love." All I needed to hear was that amazing guitar, and all I thought was "this is going to be a hell of a song!" I immediantely asked my brother if he heard of Say Anything, and turns out he had and he loved them too. I got most of their older songs, and all of Is A Real Boy. I loved all the songs on there! I really liked the song "Wow, I Can Sexual Too" came out from the album Was A Real boy. But the bad thing is, everyone liked it and its the ONLY song they liked. It doesn't really effect me, they should just listen to some of their other stuff. But still, I think thats just fucking retarded because there is a lot more too it. I really am a fan of Say Anything cause i listen to way more than just one hit. Just the way the lyrics and the Max's voice and the sounds mix together is just awesome. Say Anything's just makes me happy, and they are going to my favorite band for a very, very long time!
