skinny mean man is definately my favorite song off of in defense of the genre. the way i have interpreted its meaning is kinda like something i went through.

say anything has been my favorite band for several years now. is a real boy was my favorite cd forever, but now i have two because in defense of the genre is amazing too. max's lyrics have helped me through so much in my life. i have some issues like max, just for different reasons , im sure, so having the words of someone who has been through stuff too gets me through what im dealing with everyday.

some kids are over the top.
i dislike that kids freak out when they meet someone famous or semi-famous. such as a fan whose comment i read; she was absolutely freaking out through her comment. i absolutely love say anything; you guys are my favorite band. And i adore max bemis. <3 but a lot of the songs are making fun of scene hype, so in esscence these kids are making fun of themselves by giving into how fans in the scene should act; conforming. i know that rock stars want to be treated like real people with feelings, not marble statues on pedestals.
