Honestly.
Say Anything is absolutely and unspeakably epic, but instead of being ecstatic when i am done listening to them, i am just flat out sad. like, sad sad.

possibly. or the fact that a band can actually be this good, and their popularity is growing rapidly, yeah that sucks. Not for Say Anything, of course, but im going to admit it; i liked having Say anything, this weird and amazing band that no one knew, to listen to when no one else knew them.
