This is for Anyone familiar with the album "Baseball"
Anyone familiar with this album, what do you think of it?
In my opinion this is some of Max Bemis's finest work. Though the overall quality is not as great as the other albums, the lyrics are raw and powerful. I guess that's just me, but I hope that someday this album will become more available to the public. It would be great if I could go get a copy at FYE right now.

Oh I completely agree with both of you! I love the songs on the album! I saw Max write somewhere something about not really liking that album as much or something which is so weird to me! I absolutely love it. I'd love a copy too so let me know if you guys find anything!

I reallllly love this album. I agree, i think it is one of their best.<3
I love the raw emotion to the songs. I think that the high quality recorded songs are good but lack that emotion or something that is there in Baseball. I really want a copy too but I have no idea where i would be able to get one.D:
Good luck on finding your copy!

I read on other boards that the Baseball album has sold on Ebay for more than $200! Call me silly, but if I were to find an available copy, I'd buy it without hesitation.

My sister has this album on her iPod and I'm so happy she does. I think this is my favorite say anything album because of how raw and relatable it is. I have a personal connection to the album. Another thing I love about it is that it pretty much tells the story of max's life as a teenager and shows what its like to love, lose it, getting fucked up and then loving again. I think all the other albums after that are great but this one in my opinion was the best, because of how lyrically amazing it was.

I just got this album. I've heard it before and LOVE it, but found an independently owned CD store in our neighboring town that will find and order anything you ask for. How convenient huh?

I also really like this album. It seems like they were still trying to pick what sound they wanted to go with, so it's really open to different types styles. really great album
