I've been looking through the pics that other folks have posed with Max, and one thing that i keep noticing is that Mr. Bemis never smiles. He actually has a look that "I'm going to be sick look" so it got me to thinking.
I wonder if Max is generally a little spiteful of fans always bothering him with the little time he has to himself. time he would usually use to ponder about things that need pondering. And here comes yet another fan to break his train of thought to ask for a piece of paper with his image so the little bastard can brag that they spent a second in the same space of a rock star...or he thinks its funny to sneer while everyone else looks so ecstatic. put your input

im pretty sure hes mid 20s so def not 18-20 in 2000, but on the not talking and smiling and whatnot it basically depends on his day and the show i would think, every time i see him we have a good chat

I'm sure he would be very shy and nervous, it must be a lot of pressure to have people walk p to you and say: " I'm your biggest fan!" or "Your Band means soooooo much to me!". i wouldn't want to do anything that would offend or hurt them knowing how much you are to them in their eyes. I think the never smiling in pics is a joke thing though. although i did see a picture from 2000 where he was smiling, he was also really young, i don't know how young he was but i would assume like 18-20. it was weird he looked really happy as opposed to the pics i see of him know, all solemn

I wouldn't know what to do if I did meet him. I would hope that I wouldn't be as annoying. But maybe it's a shyness thing, or maybe he just doesn't like that kind of attention.

Well I don't think he'd think of himself quite that highly, but he probably does get annoyed at a bunch of random people coming up to see him and commemorate seconds-long conversations with pictures that come out terrible but are kept anyway. I'm not saying I wouldn't do it, but it makes sense that he would get annoyed at the people who do. I'm sure he loves his fans... just not meet and greets which usually only turn out to be greets.
