A Say Anything film
I've been thinking a lot about what if Say Anything made a film based off of the stories of their albums and I find my self loving the idea more and more. It could be a crazy musical or just a regular movie but both have references to Max's life and song references in the story. Like I could imagine the main character sitting in his car listening to the radio and then "sugar pie honey punch" starts playing or the main character having a birthday party and has friends over he hasn't been talking to. I don't know what it'd be called but it would be really cool if they could make a film. What do you guys think?

Yeah i just really think that SA songs are a really good medium to express the power love has over people, and how it can even overcome death and tragedy all around you

A musical about Say Anything would be amazing! Thinking about it just got me all excited! I wonder if it could happen? And I dont know if it would really exploit Max useing his music I think it would be more of an honer cause he explains how everything isnt good and dandy in life and the holocaust was a pretty fucked up thing.

the more i think of the songs the more it fits in my head, although i don't know if max would be ok with that. it seems like it would just exploit them
