- amazing APRIL 5, 2011, 9:05 pm the reason i believe that say anything is so amazing is because not only are they creative with their music, having each song sounding distinct, but their lyrics are so relatable. i have clinical depression, and, like max, i turned to drugs as well leading to a few breakdowns. i see max as an inspiration, because he came so far, and is able to make something beautiful, music, out of his handicap, bipolar disorder. i also love how say anything has such an honesty to its music; the lyrics can be read as poetry, or sung as awesome sort of punk-ish, alternative-ey goodness.
